1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

God speaks and this is what he's saying to me. In psalm 119 verses 1 to 3 God make it clear who are those that are blessed by him. They are thoses who are favored and without blame, those who walk upright and keep his commandments. Those who read his word and hide them upon the table of their heart, meditating and take the words of the lord serious. Paul told use to be ye doers of the word not just readers, but in order to do that, we must first understand what it is he[the Lord] is trying to tell use. With all your getting we must get understanding the Lord said. Inorder to undestand we must meditate on the word[meditating is deep thought over something that something is the word]. Meditating on the word will give you better understanding of all that god is trying to teach you. Then will we be without blame walking according to his will and his way,the Lord said. Then can we say we are truelly lead by the spirit as the sons of God.So the Lord is saying to me keep my commandments, walk in my statutes that I have laid before you to do, do all that I say and fully obey all that I[God] put before you to understand. This will teach you to live right, use my words as the heart beat of your life because it is. then will all your ways be directed according to my Glory. What this mean is when you meditate on the word, the word becomes a part of your everyday movement; your everyday walk, your everyday talk. just like your heart beat in which you need to contiune to push blood through your body therefore in the same way you need the word of God its a daily process. When you do and take strong hold of my words and my way learning my righteousness you shall never be ashamed.now when you master[master meaning fully understand the voice of the Lord] they no longer are something you always thinking about, they will become something you are. then my daughter or my son shall you be partaker of all that i say shall come to pass. then david begins to praise God and worship him, i didnt understand but now i understand why david praised God even in his trouble, david understood that because he walk, talk and moved according to the Lords will, seeking diligently his righteousness david understood that what he went through, is the very thing that help him understand the power of the Lord hand. making the Lords saying so much more reliable to lean upon, then Daivd say at the end okay Lord now that am understand and doing what you say please let me not be ashamed like you said i will never be.
God promises you can take to the bank PRAISE GOD. so god is simply saying do and keep my sayings and you will be safe under my will.
To God be The Glory!
As I read Psalm 119:1-8; These scriptures are all talking about the Powerful Word of God. It even starts out saying Blessed (happy) are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. This is saying that God has perserved us for such a time as this, we should conduct ourselves in a godly manner, we should be sincere people of God, keeping His teachings, His Commandments. We should have a zeal for God's glory! Verse 2 is very powerful, it talks about how we should Treasure our testimonies, having a crave, thirsty & hunger for God; search the scriptures day and night and get an understanding of them. Here in these verses from 1-8the Psalmist basically talks about keeping the statutes of the Lord. I see prayer and praise here in the scriptures, which keeps the psalmist in tune with the Lord, and we should apply these very words to our every day life. Put ourselves in this psalmist place; let his words become our words. We need to follow after God sincerely with compassion and with our walk as well as our talk. Putting our confidence in God offering up Prayer & Praise. Walking in His ways and not our own. Hearing and Obeying God's word. David glorify, Magnify and Honor God here in the scriptures. Obedience is better than sacrifice. God should be the Lover of our soul as well. Let the scriptures talk to you, God is amazing! God bless the reading of His word.

What's speaks to me in Psalm 119:1-8 says; God's people are happy people. And what we must do and be to attain the will of God. We're to walk in God's ways, and the law is his Word. We are not to defiled our bodies with sin and to reject doing evil works. We are to love the Lord thy God with all our Heart and with all our Soul, and with all our Might. We are to fear the Lord our God and Love him as well, also keep his commandments. If we are children of the father we are not to commit sin because God seed is in us and if we're new creations born again od God. We're to keep his testmonies which is his truth, which is his covenant also known as the ark of the testmonies. God has commanded us to keep his precepts and to look to him for widsom and grace. Let every good man has a respect to all God's commandments, those that concern both the inward and outwars man, both the head and the heart. Those who have a sincere respect to all God's commandments shall not be ashamed. We shall have a clearness and courage in their own souls without sin and do no iniquity, they will carelly avoid all sins. To God Be The Glory!!!!! And it is so
Psalm 119 v 1-8 in my understanding; give specific instruction on perfecting your walk with the Lord. Verses 1-3 gives you assurance of the blessing, while explaining what must be done which is first abiding by laws of the Lord. By seeking him with your whole heart, meaning to me, you must follow him entirely. Not only when things are good but when things become increasing difficult. Verse 4 says to keep the precepts meaning principles diligently.
What stood out to me is the importance/stress of being clean "undefiled" no iniquity meaning mo wickedness no sin. As Laquisha pointed out on the Youth Hour of Power line when you sin you give the devil the right to attack, and mount negativity in your "red wagon". That ties directly into v.4-5 we must keep the principles that were set for us and v. 5 tells us we were directed to keep his statutes “an act by the founder intended as a permanent rule."
This is an awesome lesson that gives clear specific instruction for us to walk in the ways of the Lord.
So when we cleanse ourselves, seek Him with our entire heart humble ourselves, do not commit sin keep His principles we will not be ashamed because we would have a respect to abide by the law and we would have learned the punishment involved with sin and disobedience.

Obey! Obey God and the commandments. Stay at the foot of Jesus Christ he will direct your path. Be of good cheer. Let your body be a living sacrifice, Holy and the kind God accepts. Just think of what he has done for you, but don't copy the behavior and the customs of the world, renew your mind and be a different and better person with a fresh and new mind in what you think and do. For if you tell someone or confess with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believe it in your own heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved.
Happy are we who follow His ways, blessed are those who stand strong in His laws not wavering from them. My eyes are fixed on Him, I shall not be put to shame, I am His righeous I can do no wrong follow Him and His precepts. I love His statutes they do perserve my life. I am His, and He cares for me. I will be blessed all the days of my life following Him. My heart sings His praise, for it is the right thing to do.

What I feel God is saying to me in Psalm 119, is that if you follow the ways of the Lord then he will never find fault with me. All that he wants me to do is continue to follow his commandments and live Christ like. He wants me to always do good and to praise him with all of my heart and soul. The Lord wants me to have faith that walking in the way of the Lord and being obedient in his word will produce great wonders not only in myself, but in the souls that I help rto bring to him.

In Psalm 119:1-8; God is telling me that in order to do His Will and His Way is only by following the Laws that He has set forth. He is also telling me that I not only would his children be made Holy and Righteous, but they will be blessed.
It is just like when our Earthly Father had raised us. He helped to set the foundation; taught us right from wrong; rewards us when we do good and listen to what he tells us to do. God does exactly the same thing, the only difference is that our Heavenly Father blessed us with more than an abundance.
That is one of His promises as long as we keep His commandments.
How Great is our God!!

I love this Psalm it reminds you that God has taught us what He requires of us. It speaks of what God has testified of Himself and His will. It speaks to us as a superior speaking to those under him, in this case from God to man. It tells of the permanent unchangeable regulations of God. It goes on to talk about the necessity of obeying the content and charges. And so much more.
