Today's Empowerment! 2/26/10

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)

Have you ever wished you could pray like the prophet Elijah? God says, yes you can!

Pray a effectual fervent prayer. Effectual meaning: able to produce a desired accomplishment. Fervent meaning: with great intensity.
You must first believe what you are praying for. Believe that the Almighty God is able to accomplish it.
In order to pray this type of prayer, you must be a righteous man. Free from sin. How can this be? By accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walking according to His will and by His ways.

Prayer is the key that unlocks every door! You too can pray as the prophet Elijah!

"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say on the LORD." Psalm 21:14

Wait in the overflow of God. Rest in His presence. Your find everything you need when you wait in the overflow of God! If you need peace, joy, healing; everything you need is in the waiting in God's overflow.

Receive God's fresh anoiting of His Spirit, while waiting in His overflow!

O Lord, I got to have an abundance of your Spirit! That's the only way I'm going to make it! O Lord i don't mind waiting in your overflow!

Today's Empowerment! 2/24/10

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (1John 5:4)
Why worry about what trouble comes before you, God says you already have the victory! You are above your circumstances! It's done through your faith. Have faith God has already worked it out and you have the victory!

Today's Empowerment!

"Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6)

God's Spirit is which allows us to execute His Will. He leads and guides us into righteousness. You need the Spirit of God!

Something must be done! Will the Righteous please stand!

When the Spirit of God woke me up this morning around 5am, I went to the book of Psalm and started to read books 9&10. After which I went into prayer. The Spirit of the Lord brought Jay-Z the rapper to mind and I went online to look at his lyrics to his new album "Blueprint". As I read down the list, song by song, I saw he said here and there things about Jesus. In his song, "Empire State of Mind", he said, "and Jesus can't save you, life starts when the church end". When I read this my mind was blown! Well you know what, not really because he does call himself "Hova" making it short for Jehovah. So in other words he is calling himself God.

Why am I saying all of this, because sometihing have to be done. Can we just sit around while our children get mislead. As people like Jay-Z pump lies into their ears, minds and hearts. I don't know! I am asking thay you pray with me as we ask for God's leading on this. We spend so much time trying to preach the church into righteousness when they should already be righteous! When there are people sitting in the depts of darkness, in caves and chained with sin. Something must be done!

Isn't that just like satan attacking our children, our offspring. Something must be done!
